Melissa George was born on 6 August 1976, in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. She is an Australian actress. Similarly, she made her acting debut with her role as Angel Parrish on the Australian soap opera Home and Away from 1993 to 1996 and made her film debut in 1998 science fiction film Dark City. With her appearances in films such as The Limey (1999, Sugar & Spice (2001), and Down with Love (2003), she gained good attention with her starring roles in Derailed (2005), Turistas (2006), Triangle (2009), A Lonely Place to Die (2011), and Felony (2013).
Besides, she is known for appearing in Grey’s Anatomy from 2008 to 2009, The Good Wife from 2013 to 2014 and in The First since 2018.
Regarding her family, her father’s name is Glenn George whereas her mother’s name is Pamela George.
George attended Warwick Senior High School.
