Michelle Dockery Biography
Michelle Dockery was born on 15 December 1981, in Rush Green, London, England. She is an English actress. Similarly, she is best known for her role as Lady Mary Crawley in the ITV television period drama series Downton Abbey from 2010 to 2015. She also received Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series three in a row and a nomination for Golden Globe Award. She had made her acting debut in the play His Dark Materials in 2004 and her film debut in the film Spoiler (2010).
Likewise, some of her notable films include Hanna (2011), Anna Karenina (2012) and Non-Stop (2014) and her other TV appearances include her starring role as Letty Raines in Good Behavior from 2016 to 2017 and Defending Jacob (2020).
Regarding her family, her father’s name is Michael Francis Dockery whereas her mother’s name is Lorraine Witton.
