American Singer, Demi Lovato’s Mom, Dianna de la Garza has broke up her silence about her daughter.
She opened about the she suffered when Demi Lovato was hospitalized for an apparent drug overdose on Tuesday’s episode of Newsmax TV . In the interview, she said, “It’s still a really difficult thing to talk about. I literally start to shake a little bit when I start to remember what happened that day.”
She admitted that she hadn’t expected anythings about her childrens.
She recalled the day, “So, I was in shock. I didn’t know what to say. It was just something that I never, ever expected to hear, as a parent, about any of my kids.” She also addressed that the singer was conscious but not speaking when asked about her daughter’s health.
Garza told the news of hospitalization of her daughter to Lovato’s sisters, Dallas and Madison. After hearing such a sad news, she couldn’t drive. So, Dallas took her to the Cedar Sinai Hospital. Then she ran into the emergency room reaching the hospital as fast as they could.
She explained the situation, “She just didn’t look good—at all. She was in bad shape. But I said to her, ‘Demi, I’m here. I love you.'” At the time Demi also replied, “I love you, too.”
She continued, “From that point on, I never allowed myself to ever think that things weren’t going to be OK. I prayed, of course, all the way to the hospital, and my faith is strong. I think that was one of things that got me through the next couple of days when she was in critical condition. We just didn’t know for two days if she was going to make it or not”
She added thanking all Demi’s fans, “I just feel like the reason she’s alive today is because of the millions of prayers that went up that day when everybody found out what was happening. I don’t think she would be here if it hadn’t been for those prayers and the good doctors and Cedars-Sinai. They were the best. I couldn’t have asked for a better team of people to save her life.”
She explained about Demi’s health situation, “She’s happy. She’s healthy. She’s working on her sobriety, and she’s getting the help she needs. That in itself encourages me about her future and about the future of our family.”
“Sorry Not Sorry” singer was rushed to Cedars Sinai Medical on July 24 for emergency treatment due to drug overdose. The Pop star undergone through an medical emergency of reversing the effects of Narcotic Overdose and stayed at the hospital for two weeks.
After Demi Lovato left Cedars-Sinai hospital, she immediately entered rehab for further treatment and her recovery. The 25 year old would be under extensive treatment for next several months.
