Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were the couples applauded by everyone. The ex-lovers met during the shooting of The Amazing Spider-Man, where Andrew portrayed the role of young Peter Parker and Emma Stone played Peter’s love interest, Gwen Stacy. Then, they began dating each other. They were in a relationship for four amazing years and they split in 2015.

Right Now, Andrew is busy promoting his new movie Breathe while his ex-girlfriend is supporting her new project  Battle of the Sexes.

On 10th October night, at the premiere of his new movie Breathe, he mainly spoke about the very movie and the true story of Robin and Diana Cavendish the film tries to tell.  The Cavendishes were a couple in the 1950s who refused to give up hope when Robin fell ill with polio and was paralyzed from the neck down.

Asked about the friendly competition between Emma and himself as both their films are released right now since both the movies are based on true stories, Andrew laughed. Again when asked about Emma’s role in the real-life Billie Jean King, he gave the same reaction.

“I haven’t [seen it] but I’m very excited to,” he told E! News. “I’m nothing but supportive and her biggest fan.”

The couple was the favorite of all and by the blessing of Gods, for all their fans and well-wishers, the ex-couple didn’t stop talking nice about each other even after the split. Andrew even gave Emma a standing ovation when she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in La La Land.

It seems like their friendship bond and support for each other is never going to fade away anytime soon.

He talked openly about why he did the film and why he was so attracted to the script of his latest project.

“I read it and I just balled my eyes out, but it was a happy cry. It was that kind of life-affirming, joyful, life is so short and we’re all here for such a short period of time. How do we make the most of this miracle? How do we do it?” he explained to us. “And I think Robin and Diana Cavendish came up with some answer for how to make life meaningful and full of joy and spirit. It was a no-brainer for me to do this.”

Breathe is in theaters now.
