The deal contains a fifth-year team option. Burns (6’5/249) turned pro after making 25 starts on the Seminoles’ defensive line, amassing 39.5 career TFLs with 24 sacks and seven forced fumbles. He earned first-team All-ACC in 2018 and was credited with the nation’s third-most QB pressures (66) by PFF College. Burns showcased freaky athleticism in Indy with 4.53 speed and a 94th-percentile SPARQ score.
