American fantasy drama television series, Game of Thrones is again a King of Emmy!
On the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards, the HBO series, Game of Thrones successfully won the prize of Outstanding Drama Series. They took this prize home for their outstanding work on season seven. HBO had released the season 7 last year. But, for the next Emmy, season 8 is still roughly some months away.
HBO has also revealed previously that the final season would air in 2019. For the die-hard fans of Game of Thrones, it’s a bad news because there won’t be any release of Game of Thrones Season due to which they have to wait for some time.
HBO had shared a statement revealing about the release date of Game of Thrones Season 8. The statement reported being aired in 2019. It captioned, “Send a raven. #GameofThrones returns to @HBO for its eighth and final season in 2019” along with a press release link of its official website.
The epic fantasy series Game of Thrones will return for its six-episode, eighth and final season in 2019.
David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, David Nutter, and Miguel Sapochnik will be the directors for the new season. Writers for the new season are David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, Bryan Cogman and Dave Hill.
The executive producers of the series are David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger, and Bernadette Caulfield. Co-executive producers are Bryan Cogman, Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis and George R.R. Martin.”
Fans are so much curious about the final season. In the Emmy Award 2018, the casts became ready to reveal all about it to ET as much as they could.
Gwendoline Christie, the warrior Brienne of Tarth jokingly said, “You are fined, and if you don’t have the money, then you lose one of your toes.” The final season would be unexpected, said Christie.
But, the author, George Martin urged not to reveal anything as he said, “I’m sworn to secrecy.”
