was introduced as a contestant of Under Nineteen with his moving poster on October 25, 2018, The poster revealed that he was a part of the performance team. He finished in ninth place, thus becoming a member and the center of the project group 1THE9.On April 13, 2019, the group officially debuted with the mini-album XIX. 1THE9 officially disbanded on August 8, 2020, following the release of their final mini-album Good-Bye 1THE9.
Furthermore, the debut date was on April 13, 2019. On the same day, the concept photos of the members were revealed. Later, on April 5, the debut timeline started and the name of the album was revealed to be XIX with the title track being “Spotlight”. A pre-debut title track, “Domino”. On April 17, they held their debut showcase through V Live, with their fandom and fandom color announced to be Wonderland and Lime Punch, respectively.
Similarly, on October 17, 2019, 1THE9 released their second mini-album Blah Blah. On July 6, the group announced they would be coming back with their third mini-album, Turn Over, on July 16. On July 27, it was confirmed that the group would be disbanding on August 8. Also, on August 3, 1THE9 announced that they will release their final mini-album, Good-Bye 1THE9, on the 5th. The album is a special gift to their fans prior to the group’s disbandment.
