Millie Bobby Brown of stranger things has done a lot in her young life . At just 14 years old, she’s traveled around the world, appeared on syndicated television shows. She starred in one of the most explosively popular Netflix shows in the history of online streaming.
And now, she’s set to make her film debut in the upcoming ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters,’ due out in the summer of 2019. In the trailer that was screened at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Brown was shown to play a character called Madison Russell, a young girl wrapped up in the chaos of a war between titanic monsters.
The trailer features scenes that show off Brown’s range, including her cowering in fear, indignantly accusing her mother (played by Vera Farmiga), delicately approaching a massive behemoth, and looking up, exhausted but triumphant as Godzilla himself roars in approval.
She’ll be sharing the big screen with such acting veterans as Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Bradley Whitford, and O’Shea Jackson Jr.
Though the film is a long way from coming out, Brown is already looking to expand her filmography and is in talks to be in the film’s planned sequel, a Godzilla vs. King Kong movie, with Kyle Chandler and Danai Gurira also looking to be attached to the project.
