American Politician and congresswoman, Jackie Walorski, a U.S. representative for Indiana’s 2nd Congressional district since 2013 died in a car accident on 4 August 2022. She got nominated from Indiana’s 2nd district on 3 January 2013 preceding Joe Donnelly.
Previously, she was a member of the Indiana House of Representatives from the 21st district. Recently, in the 2020’s election, she won with 183601 votes whereas her opponent Pat Hackett from Democratic got 114967.
Furthermore, she was honored as a Commander of the Order of the Star of Romania on 8 June 2017.
Car Accident and the Bad News
Jackie Walorski was found dead with three other people near Nappanee, Indiana in a vehicle traveling northbound on State Road 19. It has been known that she died due to a collision of her head on the vehicle.
- She supported the ban on late-term abortion.
- Jackie voted for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, Affordable Care Act, etc.
- Walorski came up with legislation to double death gratuity for the families. Under which family of service members killed on active duty would get $100K instead of $200K.
