Pharrell Williams was born on April 05, 1973, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, US. He is an American singer, rapper and record producer. Similarly, he is known as a member of the production duo, Neptune along with Chad Hugo and a lead vocalist of the band N*E*R*D along with Hugo and childhood friend Shay Haley.
As of his solo career, he released his first solo single, Frontin in 2003 and then released his debut solo album, In My Mind in 2006. His other album is Girl, which he released in March 2014. Furthermore, he has received 10 GRAMMY awards till the date including two from the production duo Neptune duo to his outstanding work in the music industry. Likewise, he also earned a nomination for an Academy Award for composing a song Happy for the movie Despicable Me 2. Williams is also the owner of a media venture that encompasses entertainment, music, fashion, and art called I am OTHER.
