In 2014, he participated with other NCT-co members on the show Exo 90:2014, where they performed songs from the 90s. In 2016, he featured in J-Min’s “Ready For Your Love” music video. He played the DJ in the music video of Amber & Luna – “Heartbeat”, & Yoon Do-Hyun, Reddy, G2, and INLAYER – “Nightmare”.

Youngho officially debuted as a member of NCT, in the unit NCT 127, with the NCT #127 Limitless on January 6, 2017, On March 14, 2018, he joined NCT’s first full album, NCT 2018 Empathy as part of their NCT 2018 project.SM confirmed the group is preparing an album and will make an announcement once their exact schedule is confirmed. At midnight on September 21, NCT released two teaser videos titled “NCT 2020: RESONANCE Pt. 1” and “INTERLUDE: RESONANCE”, which introduced their new logo and highlighting the sub-units past releases in a montage. Later that same day, SM revealed the album, NCT 2020: Resonance Pt. 1, will be released on October 12 and will include all 23 members including 21 existing members from NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV and two new members, Shotaro and Sungchan
