Watch What Happens Live’s Andy Cohen is a Father Now!
American TV Personality, Andy Cohen welcomed a baby boy via surrogate on February 4, 2019, on Monday. Cohen took through Instagram to reveal the happy news of the birth of his baby.
Similarly, he uploaded a photo of himself holding his newly born son and wrote, “WOW! This is my son, Benjamin Allen Cohen. He is 9 lbs 2 ounces !! 20 inches !! Born at 6:35 pm, PT. He is named after my grandfather Ben Allen. I’m in love. And speechless. And eternally grateful to an incredible surrogate.” He finally says, “And I’m a dad. Wow. ♥️🌈”
Andy Cohen revealed the gender of his baby while co-hosting New Year’s Eve Live special together with Anderson Copper.
Cohen said while hosting, “This is the biggest year for me.” He then revealed the gender of the baby, “It’s a boy. I gotta tell you I cannot wait to meet this boy.”
He further adds about his baby’s appearance, “I think he’s going to have a nice Semitic head of hair.” Similarly, Cohen also praised his surrogate and called her “wonderful.”
Cohen had firstly revealed about the exciting news of the expectancy of a baby via surrogate at the final live broadcast of ‘Watch What Happens Live’ for 2018.
Likewise, Andy said, “I’ve always tried to be as transparent as possible about my life. I over share and I expect everyone around me to do the same and tonight I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science, if all goes according to plan, in about six weeks time, I’m going to become a father thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future.”
